Editor's Review
Walking into Family Dollar in Clay, WV, you might find yourself torn between the thrill of discovering discount groceries and the frustration of navigating through cluttered aisles. Many customers appreciate the family-owned atmosphere, noting that the store has been around since 1992. In fact, as Greg Kerns put it, itβs a place with 'good people working there.' The warm and familiar vibe seems to resonate with a lot of locals.
However, some reviews also highlight persistent issues. For instance, Stace Metz paints a less flattering picture, describing the store as 'very dirty' and criticizing the staff for their lack of friendliness. This sentiment echoes in Amy Rogersβ feedback, where she mentioned encountering boxes of merchandise obstructing the aisles, making shopping a bit of a hassle. Yet, amidst these challenges, Caden Pope brings a ray of positivity, giving a shout-out to Mason, one of the employees who consistently goes above and beyond in his duties.

The store was very dirty, unorganized and the workers are lazy there. Never seen such unfriendly people.Terrible management! Need to hire employees with a smile. Diane Legg was a wonderful person always smiling and greeting her customers.
A couple of workers are loud and somewhat lazy it's very hard to walk down the aisle or to find what you need because there is always boxes of merchandise in the way I try to avoid that place as much possible.
