Editor's Review
Dollar Tree in Portland, OR, has an overall rating of 3.7 out of 5, with a mix of glowing reviews and some downright disappointing experiences. Customers rave about the variety, especially for party and office supplies, with one user, Nathanael Smith, highlighting how the staff made his mother’s birthday unforgettable with a stunning balloon bouquet. However, not all experiences are rosy. Some shoppers reported disorganized shelves and unhelpful staff, like John Doe, who complained about being turned away just minutes before closing time.
Another recurring theme among complaints is the negative interaction with staff. Rg Gamel noted that a customer purchasing in bulk was treated rudely, making others uncomfortable. It appears that while the variety in products is a strong point, the customer service leaves much to be desired.
In summary, if you're looking for an affordable one-stop shop for party supplies or office essentials, Dollar Tree may fit the bill. Just be prepared for a hit-or-miss experience, especially in terms of staff attitude and store organization.

This location is crap. There’s empty packages everywhere. No organization and as soon as new stuff is placed on the shelves they are gone immediately. Then you have rude shoppers. I can’t tell if they are secret shoppers or Amazon resellers who are t...
Showed up at 8:44. They close 15 mins early. Had to start posting a review in front of the store to get let in. If you're getting paid, you should be working, not closing early so you can be on your phone
Teller and manager were awful to a customer just because she was buying in bulk. Treated her like a shoplifter, calling the customer out in front of others and making me very uncomfortable. Do better Dollar Tree employees and management!
Roy is too lazy to check the shelf and I came for no reason after calling because what I was wasn't here
