Editor's Review
Nestled in Saginaw, MI, Family Dollar is a treasure trove for savvy shoppers looking to stretch their dollars. Since 1992, this family-owned gem has built a reputation for a diverse selection that keeps customers coming back week after week. As Nick Marcum aptly put it, 'You can fully grocery shop here and not spend nearly what you would at Kroger.' This statement reflects a common sentiment that resonates among patrons who appreciate the budget-friendly prices and convenience of shopping for everyday essentials all in one spot.
However, it’s not all perfect. A few customers have voiced concerns about the store's organization and staffing. For instance, Mrs. J Dickson noted, 'The only reason that I did not give 5 stars is because they are understaffed.' Many shoppers have echoed this, suggesting that longer lines and cluttered aisles detract from their overall experience.
On the bright side, Family Dollar dazzles with its regular inventory updates every Tuesday. It's like a mini shopping adventure each week! You never know what new finds await you, whether it’s organic produce or unbeatable closeout deals. Barbara Doyle mentions the 'nice set up' of the store, showcasing that many appreciate the effort put into the shopping experience, even if it doesn't always shine through.

Had never been in this particular Family Dollar before. Had a nice set up. Wasn't able to find a clearance section though. Staff was friendly.
I like that the floors are cement! I like the location. The only reason that I did not give 5 stars is because they are under staffed. I've noticed that the shift supervisor works the floor and the register and there's only one other cashier. This ca...
You can fully grocery shop here and not spend nearly what you would at Kroger. All they need is produce.
Visit family dollar 4 to 5 times a week. A few of the workers there are great. But it's always a mess. Always stick sitting around everywhere. Stuff is just everywhere. But hey they have what I need at a fair price so I'll keep shopping here.
