Editor's Review
Stepping into the Dollar General on Two Notch Road in Columbia, SC, could be a mixed bag of experiences. This store draws customers in with the promise of convenience and budget-friendly prices, yet many leave feeling let down by service and stock issues. A common complaint echoes through the reviews: inconsistency. For example, one customer, C. Davis, noted, 'The store locked the doors at 8:45 pm when the closing time is listed on the door as 9:00 pm.' Such lapses can leave shoppers frustrated and scrambling for alternatives.
On the plus side, some shoppers have praised the staff's friendliness when they’re around. Mary Jane pointed out, 'The few that are there are great but they need help.' This hints at a heartwarming aspect amidst the chaos, a glimpse of the potential within the store. However, consistently low staffing levels seem to plague the store. Desarae Perry highlighted the scheduling issues stating, 'Had only TWO employees working on the 4th of July.' This can lead to overwhelmed cashiers and long wait times, making the shopping experience stressful instead of enjoyable.

The Two Notch Road store locked the doors at 8:45 pm when the closing time is listed on the door as 9:00 pm. I'll start going to Walmart instead.

Store never has stock on shelves. I dont blame the employees.... both of them. How can you run a store productivity with so few employees. The few that are there are great but they need help.
