Editor's Review
The Dollar Tree in Lubbock, TX, stands out as a vibrant haven for those seeking budget-friendly shopping, especially for party supplies and everyday essentials. With an overall rating of 4.0 out of 5 stars from over 500 reviews, it’s evident that many customers love the variety this store offers. As Adelina Quintana noted, 'The employee Steven was so very helpful and polite. Always a delight to see him.' His warm presence seems to enhance the shopping experience, making it enjoyable for regulars and newcomers alike.
However, not all experiences are as positive. Complaints about staff behavior pop up, with some customers feeling unwelcome or ignored, such as one reviewer who found the employees 'absolutely the rudest staff ever.' This kind of inconsistency can leave a sour taste in an otherwise great shopping experience. Many shoppers appreciate the selection of cleaning products and office supplies, but frequent turnover in staff may be affecting service quality.
Despite these mixed reviews, the store's commitment to offering new items regularly keeps it fresh and appealing. This means you'll often find seasonal decorations or unique craft supplies that you didn't see last time. In fact, customers rave about the arts and crafts supplies available, which can be a game changer for DIY enthusiasts!

The employee Steven was so very helpful and polite. Always a delight to see him. He's always happily greeting people and striking up pleasant conversation during check out.
So I was looking for a notary, Google said Dollar Tree had a notary on hand. They don't. The reason for the low review is because when I asked the lady about it she was very rude and was bothered that I asked her.
Absolutely the rudest staff ever. Followed me and my husband around the store and then spoke over the loud speaker about checking there security cameras. I guess we were looking to long? 🤷🏼♀️ I walked out. I wasn't going to be treated like a theft...
It was fairly empty. I guess they were changing things around or something.
Experience was “ok”. An employee was in line in front of me to check-out while he was off of his shift, and he and the cashier and another employee were chatting and completely engaged in a conversation while I was waiting for him to be done checking...
